Information for
original players.
The original game, Classic 1.1.0 and version availability.
The released game
Word Bomb: Word Puzzle Game is the original iOS app by Matthew Holdsworth, Apple ID6752510197. Store availability and the installed version are controlled by Apple. Check the App Store listing for the current public version; TestFlight builds may differ.
Online service and saves
The former online service is unavailable. Recovery of previous online profiles and history is not promised. Preserve local data when updating. The rebuilt Classic 1.1.0 service creates a new Apple-linked account; it does not restore the deleted old online records.
Purchases and Apple terms
The old purchase identifiers remain off sale to protect older versions. Rebuilt Classic versions use replacement identifiers for the original 100, 500 and 1,000 B-Bucks packs and original regional prices. Apple controls product approval and availability. This website does not take payment. Apple’s applicable terms govern App Store downloads and transactions. The original and Voyage are separate games; do not assume progress or purchases transfer between them.
Contact
Email support@wordbomb.app and include “Original Word Bomb” in the subject. Do not send passwords, verification codes or payment-card details.
Friendly-play rules for Phrase Relay in 1.2
Use private invitations only with people you intend to play. Do not send abusive, hateful or sexual phrases, threats, names, personal information or contact details. The automated filter is limited; use Report abuse and block or support@wordbomb.app when needed. Reports are reviewed by the game operator, who may restrict Phrase Relay access. Blocking does not remove access to solo play or legitimate purchases.
Custom phrases have different difficulty. Their private completion record is non-ranked and gives no B-Bucks, competitive score or paid advantage. Do not impersonate players, fabricate activity or manipulate matches. The service may expire or cancel abandoned, blocked or reported challenges. The privacy policy explains storage and deletion. These features require Classic 1.2; TestFlight availability is separate from Apple’s public release approval.
Dictionary data has separate open licences. Sources, full notices and unrestricted data download.
Definition-backed new games · build 195 beta
Build 195 introduces a versioned list of 42,435 four-to-eight-letter English words. Every newly scored word on that policy carries a real source meaning or an explicitly source-listed form and base-word explanation. This smaller playable list is separate from the broader 97,566-headword dictionary. Names, abbreviations and unverified historical entries are not automatically admitted.
Existing unversioned saved games keep their original rules and are labelled Legacy save. They may still contain historical entries without verified definitions; those discoveries and existing scores are preserved. Start a new game to use the definition-backed policy. Exclusion from the new list is not a declaration that a term is linguistically invalid. Controls may be Spanish; definitions and playable vocabulary remain English. This beta information does not mean build 195 is publicly released.

Optional Apple Game Center challenges
The separate unassisted English ruleset excludes legacy saves, ordinary solo totals, private phrases and test fixtures. Discovery achievements do not grant B-Bucks, purchases or other currency. Apple manages its player account, score display and platform restrictions. This does not enable Phrase Relay or replace its separate moderation requirements.
App-version association and signed-in Apple service validation remain pending; this is not a promise of availability in the published version.
